National Indigenous People’s Day is celebrated annual on June 21, 2025.This year the Town of Whitby will celebrate the Indigenous People at one of our culture pop-ups at the Waterfront.
National Indigenous People’s day is a day for all Canadians to recognize and celebrate the unique heritage, diverse cultures and outstanding contributions of First Nations, Inuit, and Métis peoples.Come enjoy storytelling, drumming and dancing that celebrates the unique heritage and culture of the Indigenous People.
