Welcome to the 10th issue of Town Directory Whitby! This weekend, the Whitby Yacht Club celebrates its 60th anniversary down at 701 Gordon Street with free admission and parking, and Downtown Whitby Food Tours starts at Caldense Bakery on Dundas for a tasting walk through town. Friday evening, Movies in the Park kicks off a summer of films under the stars.

One heads-up worth passing along this week: police have increased patrols around Iroquois Beach Park and the Waterfront Trail following a serious incident, so it's good to know if that's part of your regular routine.
